Discussion Concert 'The Bonn Beethoven'

on the occasion of the anniversary of his first performance in 1778

and the anniversary of his death in 1827

Beethoven spent the first 22 years of his life in Bonn, his birthplace.

This period had a decisive influence on the young musician. Many compositions were written in Bonn which are far less present in concert life than the works from the Viennese period - wrongly, as the evening will show.
