Outernational: Transtraditional Concerts - Outernational Listening Session // Stream

Music as a history of change and migration: "Outernational" is a new transtraditional concert series at the radialsystem that sets out in search of a contemporary, hybrid, global music without exoticisms and essentialisms. In collaboration with outstanding soloists, "Outernational" presents interdisciplinary programmes complemented by "Outernational Listening Sessions" in which political, social and postcolonial issues are discussed.

Following the launch of the "Outernational" series last October, in this edition of the "Listening Session" Prof. Dr. Naika Foroutan, Director and Head of the Department "Integration Research and Social Policy" at the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research and the social scientist Esra Küçük, Managing Director of the Allianz Cultural Foundation deal with questions of post-migrant society.
