With Beethoven on the Rhine
In the context of the past 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven on 25.9.2021 at 16:00, the concert event as well as a picture and photo exhibition "Beethoven - Nature Lover" for children and adults will take place.
The current theme of "climate change" is linked to the composer's great love of nature, from which he drew many inspirations for the creation of his compositions.
The main concept is to bring Beethoven's music and his essence closer to the young generation in a playful and exciting way.
Some excerpts/arrangements of his most famous works will be performed by a small ensemble consisting of musicians of the Düsseldorf & Duisburg Symphony Orchestra and soloists under the direction of pianist and composer Anna Seropian. The concert will be framed by exciting moderation by Sebastian Klein as Beethoven and will be complemented by some hands-on activities.
The topic of "Nature and Environmental Pollution" will be visually presented in an exhibition.
