Clemens-August-Saal | 53115 Bonn-Poppelsdorf

The Bonn pianist Jamina Gerl plays and comments on selected early piano works by Beethoven, especially the following pieces that were composed in Bonn: the nine Dressler Variations, the second Electoral Sonata, the second Prelude, two pieces dedicated to Eleonore von Breuning and his first Piano Sonata composed in Vienna. In between, Beethoven’s family history and relationships in Bonn and Poppelsdorf will also be “brought into play” – with the corresponding pictures and documents on display in the foyer.

Beethoven Tour

A multimedia tour of stations with different themes and aspects on Ludwig van Beethoven brings the composer “back to life” in a public setting. The use of incisive elements at various locations in Bonn and the Rhine-Sieg District presents Beethoven to visitors, as well as the people of Bonn and the region, in a new way.
