Tickets for Events

Tickets are already on sale for one of the special highlights of the Beethoven Anniversary Year: Concert tickets are now available for the global premiere of Tan Dun's The Nine Project on 8 August 2020. Information on the start of other advance ticket sales will be published separately. The complete schedule can be found in the Calendar of Events.

A global premiere awaits the audience on 8 August 2020 with internationally renowned Chinese composer Tan Dun’s Beethoven-inspired work "The Nine Project". He will then conduct the German National Youth Orchestra (Bundesjugendorchester) and the World Youth Choir through the work that inspired him: Beethoven's 9th Symphony in D minor. The interpretation of this work by the young musicians and singers is eagerly anticipated, and will place this world-famous work by Beethoven within the context of a new generation. Tickets are available from €22.00 (concessions €11.00) to €48.00 (concessions €24.00) excl. postage and service charge.

The sale of tickets for the majority of BTHVN2020 events occurs exclusively via BonnTicket, the Ticket Hotline +49 228 502010 and at all advance ticket sale agencies.

As the events of the Beethoven Anniversary Year are being arranged by a wide range of organizers, the start of advance ticket sales is defined by the organizers of the respective events. Detailed information for advance ticket sales can be found under the respective event in the Calendar of Events.
